TESTER Tumblers
With these tumblers we tested a new clay. It looked absolutely amazing when bisqued, but the glazed product is a bit disappointing, to put it diplomatically. (Many breakages in the glaze kiln, which was a big surprise…) You can really feel the grog, so it’s not smooth to the touch. The decal quality was also impacted, it’s not as striking as normal. You can really see where you sanded the bottoms as well. Therefore, this clay didn’t make the cut. Still perfectly good tumblers for drinking wine or juice out of!
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE COME AS A SET OF 2, EXCEPT “THE POINTY ONE”, WHICH IS ONE TUMBLER (its sister didn’t survive the glazing).
